How many organisations are mapped in each country and in each link of the chain, with the type of source each count comes from. These are real coverage figures, not market estimates.

What is here, and what isn't

For every country we publish the count, the category and where it comes from. An individual profile page exists only for organisations we have checked one by one, which is why there are a few hundred rather than tens of thousands: dumping 73,000 records without looking at them would publish the mistakes in the official registers as confidently as the correct entries, and this map is only worth something for the opposite reason. Those profile pages are in Spanish only for now.

What we never publish, on this or any other page, is direct contact detail — email or phone. An organisation's identity comes from a public register; its contact channel is personal data, and publishing it would turn this into a list for spam.

The "checked against official register" column counts organisations named in a public register of their country. A zero does not mean the country is empty: it means what we have from there comes from industry directories, and we say so.
