Five areas of work

These are the jobs we've done most, described in enough detail to actually mean something. If yours isn't on this list, describe it anyway — the industry has plenty we haven't written a page for yet. Two of the five carry written terms you can read before you write to us, because the parts that involve your money or your name should not be explained for the first time on a call.

Extraction

Solventless, done properly

Hash and rosin: washing, drying, curing, yield and grade. Over a decade doing it. Most of what goes wrong is process rather than genetics, and it shows up in the first hour on site.

Cultivation

Grow rooms that hold their numbers

Setting up and correcting indoor production: environment, irrigation, integrated pest management, genetics and selection. Written from having run one, not from having read about it.

Compliance

The paperwork nobody wants to open

Novel food in the United Kingdom to start with. The FSA public list carries 12,115 CBD products and 1,039 have already been removed from it. Terms published, same as sourcing.

Sourcing

Introductions we stand behind

Bulk raw material in the cannabinoid chain. Commission on success, supplier side, and no name is shared before an NCND is signed.

Market data

Who holds what licence, and since when

Organisations and licences across dozens of countries, each traced to the register it came from. Looking things up is free and will stay free.

Sourcing · terms

This is what you would be agreeing to. It is here rather than on a call because we would rather you read it first.

Scope

Bulk raw material in the cannabinoid chain

Isolates, distillates, defined-spectrum extracts and finished white-label product. Today mostly CBG and CBN, because those are short against demand and that is where an introduction is worth something. Bulk CBD is a mature, crowded market, but we work with it too.

Territory

France and Switzerland first, the rest case by case

Those are the markets where we already have verified counterparties, so an introduction lands faster there. Beyond them we look deal by deal: the rules for bulk raw material change by country and by product format, and that gets settled in an email before anything moves.

Mandate

Non-exclusive

We do not ask for exclusive representation or an agency contract to start. Work with whoever else you like at the same time. If the relationship works, we can talk about something else then.

Fee

Success commission, supplier side

No search fee, no retainer, no monthly cost. No closed deal, no invoice. The buyer pays us nothing — charging both sides would make us a double agent.

Confidentiality

NCND signed before any name is shared

We do not tell you who the other party is until a non-circumvention agreement is signed. It covers commission on every deal between the introduced parties for 24 months from the introduction, not only the first one.

Verification

Batch COA, MOQ and real price

Before anyone is introduced we ask for the certificate of analysis of the actual batch — not the generic one from the website — along with minimum quantity and the real price. What cannot be checked does not get introduced.

Technical limit

THC that is legal at origin is not legal everywhere

Switzerland allows up to 1% THC, the European Union 0.3%. A batch that is perfectly legal where it was made may not be legal where it is going, so we do not introduce a Swiss supplier to an EU buyer without a batch COA that meets the destination country.

Compliance · terms

The UK novel food review, with the price on it. Consulting is usually sold without one; this is the line where we can publish it.

What you get

A short report per product, in four parts

What the linked application covers; what your product actually is, read off your own paperwork; a verdict point by point rather than one overall; and the concrete list of what is missing to close each gap.

Price

£300–400 for a single product

Clearly less per product on a batch of ten or more. Reading the application specification is the bulk of the work and it is done once; after that the comparison repeats.

Turnaround

Days, not weeks

A couple of hours per product once the paperwork is in hand. What sets the pace is how long it takes you to obtain the specification.

What you need

The application specification, which is not public

Only the applicant holds it, and the applicant is usually the manufacturer rather than the brand. If you cannot obtain it, that is already the first finding of the report, and getting it from the manufacturer is separate work, quoted separately.

Ways of working

Not everything fits a fixed price. These are the formats that work, in the order people usually need them.

One question

A single problem, answered

A wash that is not yielding, a room that lost its numbers, a product whose paperwork does not add up. Send it and get a straight answer. Often that is the whole job, and if it is, we say so instead of stretching it.

On site

Days or weeks, where the facility is

Some things cannot be diagnosed from photographs. Setting up a wash room, correcting a grow, training a team on process: that is done standing in the room. Travel and accommodation on top, agreed before anything is booked.

Ongoing

A fixed number of hours a month

For operations that want someone to call rather than a report. Monthly, cancellable, no minimum term. Useful once a facility is running and the questions are constant but small.

Project

A defined build, start to finish

Commissioning a processing line, taking a facility from licence to first batch, or standing up an extraction operation. Scoped and quoted as one piece of work with an end date.

Where

Based in Switzerland, and willing to travel for work that is worth travelling for.

Europe is where the existing contacts are — Switzerland, France, Germany, the United Kingdom and Spain. That is where an introduction lands fastest and where the regulatory ground is already mapped.

Newly regulated markets are of active interest. They tend to share the same shape: licences granted faster than the capacity to use them, plenty of licensed growers and very few operators who can turn a crop into a product to specification. That gap is processing capacity and process knowledge, which is the part I do.

Working languages: Spanish and English.

What we do not do

  • No legal advice, and no dealing with any regulator on your behalf. We compare documents and tell you what they say.
  • No promise of a regulatory outcome. Nobody can promise that, and anyone who does is selling something else.
  • We do not buy, hold or ship stock, and we never handle either party's money.
  • We do not take work we cannot do. If it is outside what we know, we say so in the first email instead of learning at your expense.

Tell us what the problem is

A grow room that is underperforming, a wash that is not yielding, a product whose paperwork you have never seen, or material you need to place. Describe it and we will tell you whether it is ours.
